Todd was all thumbs

on sunday, october 5th, todd was very clumsy. he was washing the dishes after our breakfast (which was very nice) and he was washing our nice goblet-like dinner glasses. he already broken one in january or so, and he accidentally broke another on sunday. so we went from 6 to 4. it was ok because i was actually thinking about when he broke one and what if he broke another. i made sure that i didn't get too mad because it was just a glass, probably worth about $3. they just look nicer than that.
later that day while we were watching the second sunday session of general conference i was taking off my nail polish on the bed (which probably wasn't that great of an idea anyway...). todd wanted to paint one of his nails to make me happy and to laugh and i did. i started putting on lotion when todd was trying to get the polish off and he hadn't put the lid back on the nail polish remover which was on a notebook. i set my huge tub of lotion partly on the notebook and the nail polish remover tipped over all over my notebook (with my conference notes), and the blankets and sheets all the way to the mattress cover but thankfully not to the mattress itself. so we stripped the bed and blow dried the notebook. we didn't have enough quarters to put them all in the washer and dryer so we set them in the dirty clothes basket. i told todd that he wasn't having a great day. :) little did we know...
that night, just before bed, todd had gotten a glass of water to put by the bed because sometimes he gets thirsty at night. he filled up a glass of water and set it on our wooden vanity/dresser. somehow, he knocked it or tipped it over and it spilled all over our things and down the drawers to the floor. that was the funniest of them all because of the day that he had had. i just couldn't stop laughing. he kept saying "stop laughing at me!!!" i got him a towel and we wiped it up and saved just about everything.
he almost went a day without an accident but last night while i was finishing up my personal prayers todd went into the bathroom to floss. i don't know exactly what happened cuz i was praying but i heard something fall. i just didn't want to imagine what it was. but he let me know when i openned my eyes. he had knocked our toothbrush holder with all of our toothbrushes (4) into the toilet because the seat was up. there was nothing in the toilet but water but we threw them away anyway. it was so funny! now we are using new toothbrushes.
well, we will see what happens tonight!! :)
