FHE Groups

During this semester, we have been able to have FHE groups from our singles ward come to our house for FHE. We have a group every other week. This is really fun for us because then we really get to know the kids at a more personal, laid-back level which you don't get during the church block. They seem really comfortable around us since we are really close to their age (sometimes younger) :). We have an opening song and prayer and they do the lesson. We play a game (one that we have provided or one that they have) and then have treats. Our first group ate a whole dish of brownies and almost all (but like 3) of our double batch of cookies we made. Also they ate a half gallon of ice cream!!! WOW! So we planned on the next group eating that much and they thankfully didn't. :) We actually have treats for this week. Anyway, its been a fun time to become friends with them so its not so awkward during church when we are one of two married couples in the ward.
