I didn't think it was possible, but 15 month olds can have the "man cold". Urban Dictionary defines the man cold: "The name 'man cold' disguises the true terrible, debilitating disease that is the man cold. Nearly all men will die from man colds unless they are administered immediately with large amounts of mindless TV such as daytime TV, or childrens' cartoons. It is essential that they not move from bed or a comfy sofa to allow for rehabilitation, and must have tissues and man cold medicine brought to them constantly by a nearby female. Your man will not be able to lift a finger for two weeks, if you are lucky."
Pretty much, the world stops and they can't do a thing on their own. They are needy and helpless.
Women on the other hand still go to work, do dishes, take care of the kids all while blowing her own nose and getting her own medicine all while being upright. :)
Todd doesn't get the man cold this bad, but sometimes it's similar. But I didn't think TJ could! At least not yet! But he's got 2 molars coming in and has a cold. He's got green snot, a cough and he's not breathing super well. Plus {poor guy}, he's got a yeast infection. :(
He hasn't been himself. This morning was the worst when he all of a sudden couldn't feed himself and needed me to hold his sippy cup up to his mouth and fork his scambled eggs for him. He also wouldn't try to walk {which he's been doing for 5 month now} or even crawl. He would slowly climb onto my lap and point and grunt to what he wanted or where I needed to take him. Wow.
I hope he gets over this soon!
But the good part about sick kids {especially kids that aren't normally cuddly} are they cuddle and snuggle and want and need you in the sweetest way. He's been a doll at times and we've had some really cute moments.
